Beaufort Park’s history is defined by the transformation of the former Hendon Aerodrome, once the world’s first airfield and a significant RAF base, into a modern residential and community space. Developed by St George, the development was officially opened in 2007 and features landscaped gardens, the Beaufort Pub, and buildings named after the area’s aviation past. The site celebrates its aeronautical heritage, which includes the first long-distance flight in the UK, the first parachute jump from a powered aircraft, and the first night flight, through the nearby Royal Air Force Museum.

Beaufort Park is now a mixed-use residential development located in Colindale, NW9. RMG London commenced management of Beaufort Park in July 2020. Beaufort Park comprises over 3,000 apartments and more than 25 commercial entities, which our property management team services 24/7, 365 days a year.

Beaufort Park has been an ongoing regeneration project for the borough of Barnet, amongst other notable developments such as Colindale Gardens closby to the Underground Station, which has been renovated to meet the demand capacity from the thousands of homes recently added to the local area. RMG have an onsite Management Suite located at 16 Heritage Avenue, which is also designed to match this aviation aesthetic. We currently employ a team of circa 45 staff at Beaufort Park, comprising of an onsite management team, office based staff, security operatives, estate operatives and engineers.

Since our inception, RMG have been instrumental in resolving longstanding resident concerns prior to our appointment, such as rising insurance premiums and poor financial transparency. RMG London work very closer with both the freeholder and residents on the development, to continually uphold the high standards required of such a landmark development.
